Bikes, Hikes, Music, Mushrooms

Retired boomer, out to walk my dogs, ride my bike, and hike the forest paths around Monroe County Indiana. Recently found ADHD runs in my family, and apparently gallops in me…

I accept tips, gratuities, trades or simple adoration, I am not in business! This service is for friends and neighbors who need an experienced cyber tool (me) to help out around the ranch!

I have 30 years experience building, purchasing, using, and maintaining, computers, servers, printers, tablets and phones. At the turn of the century addition to being an webmaster, I was IT manager for the Bloomington Voice/Independent, and provided printer support for both General Sign and Everywhere Signs.

I worked full time as an IT Pro at IU for 17 years, maintaining servers, printers, back-up tapes, and workstations. It was good work, I enjoyed it, but when Covid hit, IU no longer needed my position, so I was forced into retirement.
So, I opened Zephyr Ebike Workshop, but I stink at doing business, and three years was enough to convince me to re-retire. It seems I can make money only when I provide service, not when passing along a product; I seem to be anti-capitalist by nature!

I am bored of being retired. I need to get out and interact with my people, and help where I can. My most extensive expertise is in IT, so kids, I am back on the market for anyone needing a quick free consult, I am offering my services to one and all, but mostly to my my my generation. I am hoping I can greet old friends and meet new ones. Give me a ping if you need a hand with any of the items listed below, we can work something out.

Addendum
Here are some of the websites I worked on ~1996-2008, some still exist only on archive.org, like my personal site from 2006, a few have disappeared entirely. It was quite a time, I remember the jump from 16 colors to 216 “web safe” colors was a big deal! So don’t judge this early sites too harshly!
